  • John Mason
    Position: Chair

    Founder and managing director of the successful consulting firm quality.com.au and ULB Global, each a division of Oberon NSW Pty Limited. As a businessperson, John has achieved a significant track record in commercial growth and client satisfaction with his focus being strategic planning, project management and sales.

    John is a metallurgist, lead auditor in quality management systems, certified management system consultant and a Fellow of the Quality Society of Australasia. He is the immediate past president and current executive of Sydney Hills Business Chamber, chairperson of Global-Mark Advisory Board, chair of Hills Schools Industry Partnership and western Sydney council member of NSW Business Chamber. Most recently John has also held the positions of; chairperson of the Standards and Accreditation Committee for the Office of Community Housing, member of the National Community Housing Accreditation Council and state council member of NSW Business Chamber.

    On a personal note, John is married with 3 daughters, enjoys physical fitness, personal development and travel.
  • Gabrielle Free
    Position: Deputy Chair

    Gabrielle is a Regional VET Coordinator who represents the Hills Catholic Schools (Marian, Gilroy and Oakhill Catholic Colleges). She has been a member of HillsSIP since February 2001. Gabrielle has held various roles as Deputy Chair, Secretary and Committee Member.

    Position: Secretary
    Rebecca Cushway is a Corporate Psychologist and Career Counsellor and is owner and Managing Director of Careers Excelled based in the Sydney Hills.  Rebecca has been practicing for 14 years and has specialist expertise in Human Resources, Talent Management, Career Counseling, Corporate Training and Adult Education.
  • Mike Yeo
    Position: Board Member

    Mike Yeo is the Managing Director of Awards and More, a Hills based business. He is a former Chair of HillsSIP and a past President of the Sydney Hills Chamber of Commerce, and a past Chair of the NSW Chamber Sub-committee on Employment, Workplace Training & Education. Mike has been involved with HillsSIP since our beginning, and a resident of the area for 40 years.
  • Heather Holman
    Position: Board Member

    Heather Holman is the Vocational Education Consultant for NSW Department of Education for the Northern Sydney Region of schools. Her role is to support teachers and schools across the range of vocational learning programs that run in Northern Sydney Region. This includes the delivery of HSC VET courses and the management of Northern Sydney as an Registered Training Organisation; TVET; Career and transition programs involving careers advisers and enterprise programs for all teachers in all curriculum areas.

    Gordon is the TAS Coordinator at Pacific Hills Christian School.
